1. Who we are and what these terms cover
LaunchDistro ("LaunchDistro", "the Service", "we", "us", or "our") provides a hosted Model Context Protocol (MCP) server and a web dashboard that help startup founders submit their products to curated public directories, with their own AI agent working in their own browser.
These terms govern your access to and use of launchdistro.com, its dashboard and the LaunchDistro MCP server. By creating an account, connecting an AI app, or purchasing a plan, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy describes how we process and protect personal data.
The Service is directed exclusively at businesses, founders, engineers, and entrepreneurs acting in a commercial or professional capacity, not as consumers.
2. How the Service works
LaunchDistro gives the AI app you connect (Claude, Cursor, Codex and others) the directories that fit your product, a playbook for each one, and checks of the live listing. Your agent fills each form in your own browser, and you approve every submission. Nothing is submitted to a directory from our servers, and we never ask for or store your passwords to third-party sites.
The Service depends on third-party public directories and registries. Directory availability, listing criteria, approval queues, and backlink attributes (dofollow, nofollow, or mixed) remain under the sole editorial discretion of each platform operator and may change over time.
3. Ethical operating rules & human oversight
LaunchDistro is built strictly for legitimate founders submitting authentic products. By using the software, you unconditionally agree to abide by our core operating guidelines:
- No CAPTCHA Bypassing: You will never use automated scripts or algorithmic solvers to tamper with or bypass CAPTCHAs, Cloudflare Turnstiles, or verification puzzles. Whenever a challenge appears, the agent records
needs_humanand pauses for manual user completion. - No Malicious Submissions: You will not submit malware, deceptive software, phishing domains, adult content, spam networks, or misleading product listings.
- Accurate Product Facts: You will never invent fake team facts, falsify founding details, or impersonate third-party intellectual property.
- Respect Directory Rules: You agree to honor the specific terms, guidelines, and inclusion policies of every target directory.
4. Accounts, licenses, and developer seats
You must provide accurate account details and maintain the security of your API keys and authentication tokens. Each AI app you connect gets its own access token; we keep only a one-way hash of it.
Free licenses and Launch passes include 1 connected AI app; Pro plans include up to 3. You may remove a connection at any time via your Founder Dashboard. What you may do with our playbooks and catalog is set out in section 5.
5. Playbooks and the directory catalog
Our submission playbooks, the directory catalog and its verified details (link type, requirements, approval notes) are our work. Your licence lets you and the AI agents you connect read them to submit products you own, or products of clients you submit for on a Pro plan, one directory at a time.
You may not, yourself or through an AI agent, script or other tool:
- copy, export, save or compile playbooks or catalog data beyond what a submission you are running needs;
- publish, share, sell or hand them to anyone outside your account;
- use them to build, seed or improve another directory list, catalog, playbook collection, submission tool or submission service, reworded or not.
These limits apply to agents acting for you: the service tells a connected agent the same thing, and asking it to extract or rewrite the playbooks is a use these terms do not allow. Streamed playbooks carry an invisible per-licence mark so a copy can be traced to the licence it came from; we may suspend a licence used this way.
6. Fees, billing, and merchant of record
Subscription plans are billed monthly or annually as detailed on our Pricing Page. Payments and invoice compliance are managed through our Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments.
A Launch is a one-off payment, not a subscription. It covers one product, up to 100 directories within 30 days of the purchase: the product named by your first submission after buying. A directory counts once, however often its playbook is opened. It does not renew. Automated weekly link monitoring is included only while a Pro subscription is active.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal; access continues through the conclusion of your current paid billing period.

8. Disclaimers and third-party directories
LaunchDistro is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We check listings and their link attributes when asked and, on Pro, every week, but we do not guarantee specific search engine rankings, domain authority increases, or immediate editorial approval by third-party directory moderators.
