LaunchDistro vs SubmitSaaS

A SubmitSaaS alternative you run yourself.

LaunchDistro is a SubmitSaaS alternative for founders who want to know which listings actually went live. It runs inside Claude or Cursor: your agent fills each form in your own browser, and counts a directory only once it finds your link on the public page.

SubmitSaaS is a done-for-you service: for a one-time $60 to $140, it submits your SaaS to 60+, 100+ or 140+ directories within 48 hours and sends a spreadsheet with screenshots. It's fast and cheap. Here's where the two differ.

—In detail

Where the two differ.

Price: a bundle or a launch you run

SubmitSaaS charges once: $60 for 60+ submissions, $100 for 100+ and $140 for 140+, about $1 a directory. LaunchDistro is free for 10 submissions, then €29 once for up to 100 directories for one product in 30 days, or Pro at €39 a month or €349 a year for every product, with no cap. A Launch costs less than their smallest plan, but you run it yourself; SubmitSaaS needs none of your time. LaunchDistro also tells you which directories you're on and which listings went live.

Submitted, or live?

SubmitSaaS says it plainly in its FAQ: it doesn't give you a list of which submissions were approved, because each directory reviews on its own timeline. LaunchDistro keeps every confirmation page, then opens each public listing, finds your link and reads its rel attribute. So you know which directories published you, and which links are dofollow.

Who picks the directories

SubmitSaaS submits you to every directory on its public list, which you can browse before you buy. With LaunchDistro you, or Claude, pick from the catalog by authority, link type and category. The catalog is small on purpose: the first paid list I bought had W3.org, IBM and MySpace on it, so a directory only gets in once it has held up on a real submission.

Whose accounts the listings live in

SubmitSaaS creates a dedicated email for the sign-ups and hands you the login, or uses yours if you ask. Where a directory only allows Google sign-in, it submits with its own Google account. LaunchDistro fills forms in your browser, so every account is yours from the start.

No DR promise

SubmitSaaS says its packages are designed to help you reach up to DR 10, 15 or 20. We don't promise a number: DR depends on which directories approve you, your starting profile and when Ahrefs notices the links. What we can show you is each link, live, with its rel.

—Honestly

When SubmitSaaS is the better choice.

A done-for-you service and a tool you run are different trades. Here's when theirs wins.

Fill in one form, and 48 hours later you have 60+ submissions without spending an evening on it.

You want a long refund window
